(HBO) - On June 19th, at the Center of Hoa Binh Square, the Association of Gardeners and Landscape Creatures held the opening of the third exhibition displaying the horticultural and ornamental products. Mr. Dinh Cong Su, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the opening ceremony.

With the theme: "Hoa Binh, the
fragrance of orchids”, the third exhibition of horticultural and ornamental
products has nearly 400 sets of orchids with more than 100 different varieties,
including 68 entries for the contest, coming from the orchird clubs of the
provinces throughout the country.
The exhibition is a playground
for those who share the same passion for orchids and the gardeners to visit,
learn, and participate in activities. In the long run, it is an opportunity to
form a movement of planting, taking care, preserving and developing the
precious orchid varieties. This is also an opportunity to exchange the
experiences in planting and taking care of flowers; jointly developing the
horticulture and the ornamental products, affirming the creative labor results
of the artists of ornamental products in Hoa Binh province, many other
provinces and cities across the country. At the same time, it has been contributing
to connecting orchid players and enthusiasts from all over the country to Hoa
Binh.
Hoa Binh province’s economy posted an impressive Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth rate of 12.67% in the first quarter of 2025, representing a 12.76% year-on-year increase, the highest rate recorded since the beginning of the current tenure, according to the provincial Statistics Office. This robust growth reflects years of strategic groundwork and sets a strong foundation for the province’s annual growth target of over 10%.
With a focus on cash crop farming with science - technology application and brand building, Lac Thuy district is gradually increasing production value, improving people's life quality, and laying the foundation for sustainable socio-economic development.
