(HBO) – Following the targets set in the resolution of the district People's Council, Lac Thuy district has focused on a raft of measures to increase revenue and prevent budget losses since the beginning of this year.

fulfill their State budget collection obligation
The district has proactively arranged resources for regular expenditures,
prioritising important tasks to ensure resources for social welfare policies.
In the first quarter of this year, its State budget collection reached 41.2
billion VND (1.79 million USD), accounting for 26.58% of the estimate of the
provincial People's Committee and 10.21% of the target set in the resolution of
the district People's Council. The total budget revenue hit over 188.7 billion
VND, or 35.14% of the estimate of the provincial People's Committee and 25.29%
of the target set in the resolution of the district People's Council. Its total
budget expenditure reached 35.02 million VND, representing 35.02% and 25.21%
respectively.
In the second quarter, the district will focus on effectively directing
the work of budget collection, ensuring the timely and sufficient budget
collection in accordance with legal regulations, proactively adopt measures to
increase State budget revenue, striving to complete and exceed the estimate for
budget collection in the first half of this year.
The provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on November 20 coordinated with Hai Dang Group Hoa Binh Seafood Company Limited to release 1.5 tonnes of fries into Hoa Binh Lake to regenerate aquatic resources, with a total value of 266 million VND (10,460 USD).
On the afternoon of November 16, Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, held a reception for a delegation from the Indian Embassy led by Ambassador Sandeep Arya. The delegation included the chairperson of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, embassy personnel, and Indian businesses operating in Vietnam. Accompanying Long at the meeting were leaders of the provincial People's Committee and representatives from various departments and sectors.

From a type of bulb used as a seasoning for daily meals, thanks to the efforts of local authorities and farmers, shallots have become a commercial crop in Yen Thuy district, contributing to promoting the transformation of crop structure in agricultural production, bringing higher incomes to locals.
