(HBO) - In the first quarter of 2023, the index of the industrial production in the province was estimated to increase by 10.67% compared to that of the same period last year. The value of the industrial production was estimated at 10,487.8 billion VND, increasing 9.03% compared to that of the same period last year.

According to the assessment of
the functional sectors, the industrial sectors in the province are basically
stable and have a good growth rate, of which a number of key products of the
processing and manufacturing industry tend to increase compared with the same
period last year. They include beer, beverages of all kinds, electronic
products. The industry of electricity production and distribution has a stable
growth rate, ensuring to meet the electricity demand for production, business
and people's daily life. There is an increasing sign in the mining industry;
the value of the industry's production was estimated at 130.9 billion dongs,
increasing 10.2% compared to that of the same period last year.
Hoa Binh province’s economy posted an impressive Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth rate of 12.67% in the first quarter of 2025, representing a 12.76% year-on-year increase, the highest rate recorded since the beginning of the current tenure, according to the provincial Statistics Office. This robust growth reflects years of strategic groundwork and sets a strong foundation for the province’s annual growth target of over 10%.
