After successfully exporting the first batch of 20 tonnes of fresh sugarcane to the US on March 19, 2023, the province continued to promote other agricultural products for export. Hoa Binh is home to many specialties, including fresh sugarcane of long-lasting varieties, growing well in the province thanks to favourable soil and weather and yielding high-quality products.

The provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on November 20 coordinated with Hai Dang Group Hoa Binh Seafood Company Limited to release 1.5 tonnes of fries into Hoa Binh Lake to regenerate aquatic resources, with a total value of 266 million VND (10,460 USD).
