(HBO) – More than 10,000 visitors came to Hoa Binh's mountainous market days which took place in Mai Chau district from October 3-7 to buy local handicrafts, brocade weaving and household appliances, among others.
OCOP products attract visitors.
An array of booths were arranged at the market,
introducing OCOP products, traditional crafts and culture of local ethnic
groups, among others.
Typical products from districts across Hoa Binh
province, including com lam (steamed sticky rice in bamboo pipes), bananas,
bamboo shoots, Da River fish, honey bee, and brocade items were sold well at
the market.
Many businesses and enterprises hoped that
similar fairs will be organised so as to enhance local trade and tourism
promotion.
Anyone found to be encroaching upon the forest, even if it is just one bamboo shoot, will face penalties. This commitment has been unanimously added into the covenant of Bua Cau hamlet, Hung Son commune in Kim Boi district, to protect the forest.
