A delegation from Sao Do (Red Star) Entrepreneurs’ Club led by its President Nguyen Canh Hong has visited Hoa Binh to explore investment opportunities in the province.
The delegation was received by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate
member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party
Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and
Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of
the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s
Committee; and leaders of provincial departments and agencies.

Sao Do Entrepreneurs’ Club President Nguyen Canh Hong, who is CEO of Eurowindow
Holding, said that thanks to Hoa Binh’s various advantages, many investors are
interested in investing in the areas of tourism, eco-urban development,
services, and education-training in the locality.
He expressed hope to have discussions with authorised agencies and sectors of
Hoa Binh on possible investment projects. Hong proposed a tourism project in
Lien Son commune of Luong Son district, along with other projects in the fields
of urban housing, tourism, education, culture and sports.
At the working session, businesses of the Sao Do Entrepreneurs’ Club expressed
their wish to explore the investment environment of Hoa Binh in the fields of
urban development, infrastructure, agriculture and industrial real estate.
They also showed their impressions on the working attitude and business support
of the province, especially in processing administrative procedures.
The club will actively introduce the locality’s business environment to their
peers across the country to draw more investment to Hoa Binh, they pledged.
Speaking at the event, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee Nguyen Phi
Long welcomed the delegation to explore the local business environment, and
introduced the potential and advantages as well as targets and orientations of
the locality.
He said that Hoa Binh is strong in agriculture, urban and service development,
while its Hoa Binh hydropower reservoir is developing into a national tourism
site. The province also owns a valuable hot mineral water source, along with
beautiful natural landscapes and unique culture of local ethnic groups.
Hoa Binh is focusing on five breakthrough areas, which are preserving and promoting
the cultural values of ethnic groups, especially Muong ethnic culture and Hoa
Binh culture; promoting administrative reform and improve provincial
competitiveness; developing and improving the infrastructure system, especially
the road traffic infrastructure system; speeding up digital transformation; and
attracting and developing high quality human resources, he said.
The provincial leader underlined that Hoa Binh is working to strengthen
regional connectivity with the Hoa Binh-Moc Chau expressway and Hoa Lac-Hoa
Binh road projects.
The locality is also focusing on four core industries of
processing-manufacturing, agricultural business, tourism and satellite housing
development.
He assigned provincial departments and agencies to coordinate with the firms
and provide them with the best conditions to carry out their projects in Hoa
Binh./.
The provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on November 20 coordinated with Hai Dang Group Hoa Binh Seafood Company Limited to release 1.5 tonnes of fries into Hoa Binh Lake to regenerate aquatic resources, with a total value of 266 million VND (10,460 USD).
On the afternoon of November 16, Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, held a reception for a delegation from the Indian Embassy led by Ambassador Sandeep Arya. The delegation included the chairperson of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, embassy personnel, and Indian businesses operating in Vietnam. Accompanying Long at the meeting were leaders of the provincial People's Committee and representatives from various departments and sectors.
Hoa Binh province hosted the "Meet India 2024" conference on November 16, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral economic ties between Vietnam and India.
In recent times, with its core role in building and fostering great national unity, Cao Phong district's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has actively carried out its responsibilities and front work, and closely collaborated with member organisations to encourage locals to implement the Party’s guidelines, and the State’s policies and laws. At the same time, it has worked to promote the dynamism, creativity, and contributions of officials, Party members, and local people to help the district develop further.
From a type of bulb used as a seasoning for daily meals, thanks to the efforts of local authorities and farmers, shallots have become a commercial crop in Yen Thuy district, contributing to promoting the transformation of crop structure in agricultural production, bringing higher incomes to locals.
