Hoa Binh city is the provincial center, the physical and spiritual lives of local people have increased, and the demand of food consumption is very large. However, there is a disturbing fact with great concern that most of the products, especially vegetables, fruits, fresh meat, fish, eggs and shrimps in the market have no clear origin, have not been proved about the food safety guarantee when being used. This inspired his idea, urged him to open a store for selling clean products on his own. The idea and business dream of the young Tran Van Tuong have been encouraged, motivated and supported by Department of Agricultural and Rural Development, specifically The Sub- Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Quality Assurance.
In the middle of last September, Hoa Binh clean food store owned by Tran Van Tuong officially open to welcome local consumers. It is located in the main road of Cu Chinh Lan in Phuong Lam Ward (Hoa Binh city). The store is conveniently located because the Department of Agricultural and Rural Development agreed to lend him without renting space. On the other hand, with the suport from the Sub- Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Quality Assurance, the store has taken advantage of collaborating, cooperating with some prestigious and brand production enterprises, firms, cooperatives and farms. These are the units and owners of farms which are included in the provincial valuable production system, such as fresh fish products of Hai Dang Company, mountainous chickens and eggs of Huong Nhuong mountainous chicken Cooperative (Lac Son), clean pork from farms of Phuong Huyen Company, Luong Son organic vegetables, safe vegetables and fruit of Dan Chu Agricultural Cooperative.
Two months is not a long time, the achievement has just started on the road of startup. With Tuong, he will have to face with a lot of challenges ahead and overcome them. That is the dream of developing the store system and expanding in the future, keeping the products in safety conditions as well as abundant sources, remaining stable for the customers. What brings Tuong more delighted now is that most of the customers of the store are satisfied with his products because all items here have traceability, clear labels and addresses, reasonable prices, which have not much difference compared to food in the market. Housewives can comfortably shop many things, from rice, fish, meat, eggs to kinds of seasonal vegetables, fruit, local special food like Cao Phong oranges, red grapefruit, green grapefruit of Tan Lac, some special food from southern area like New Zealand apples, Australian or American grapes, Korean pears.
