The provincial youth project "Lighting up the countryside” in 2023 in Van Dai area has been invested in, built and put into operation, contributing to creating a bright - green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape. The project is 1.2km long, including 20 lighting columns with a total cost of over 15 million VND, mobilizing the resources and labor from the District’s Youth Communist Union and the facilities of the local Youth Cômunist Union.

Man Duc Town’s Youth Communist Union currently has 280 members in 33 affiliated branches. In recent times, the work of political and ideological education for the youth members has been renewed in content and methods, focusing on integrating into learning activities and thoroughly grasping the Resolutions of Youth Union Congresses at all levels associated with Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo. The branches of the Youth Communit Union organize activities to participate in ensuring security and order in the residential areas, propagate and educate to raise the sense of responsibility and awareness of the youth members for the movement "All people protect the security of the homeland”. They have built and effectively maintained the model of "Youth self-management route for security and order”, "Youth with the law” club.
In 2023, the Town’s Executive Committee of the Youth Communist Union developed a specific plan, undertook the projects and work for the youth to participate in building civilized urban areas, volunteering for the social security and community health... Thye activities such as Spring Volunteer Program, the Youth Month, the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign with many meaningful and practical activities, attracting hundreds of youth participants. Along with that, the youth actively responded to the "Gratefulness – gratitude” movement, mobilizing the resources to care for poor households and the families under prefferential policies during holidays and Tet.
In the field of economic development, the Town’s Youth Communist Union has proactively coordinated with the Community Learning Center, the associations and unions to organize the transfer of scientific and technical advances; Maintaining the vocational training classes and opening job exchanges to create favorable conditions for the young people to access. In addition, many youth members have boldly developed the models of service business, raising bees for honey, raising pigs and chickens, growing fruit trees, gradually improving income and improving the quality of life. According to the review, in the town there are nearly 10 Youth Union members doing good business with an income of over 200 million VND a year.
