By the end of 2021, there were 290 poor households in the commune, accounting for 13.3% while households living near the poverty line were 196, making up 8.99% of the locality’s population.

This is an important foundation for the district to fulfill the criterion of employment and poverty reduction under the new-style rural area building programme.
(HBO) - According to the project implementing the National Target Program for the Socio-economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in the period of 2021-2030, Phase 1 from 2021-2025, there are over 3,900 ethnic minirity households lacking production land, there are over 1,300 households lacking residential land and over 3,800 households lacking housing and they are in need of support. This is identified as an urgent problem in ethnic minority areas.
(HBO) – Yen Tri commune in Yen Thuy district has been effectively implementing mass mobilisation models, combining mass mobilisation work with the implementation of Politburo’s Directive No. 05 on " continuing to learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style".

(HBO) – The programme on results-based scaling up rural sanitation and water supply, funded through a World Bank loan, has been carried out in Hoa Binh province since 2018. Among the relevant agencies and units assigned by the provincial People’s Committee, the health sector is in charge of coordinating the implementation of the tasks to achieve three main targets, namely 60 communes meeting "commune-wide sanitation” standards, 30 others "sustainable commune-wide sanitation”, and 85 water supply facilities and toilets of communal health stations upgraded or built.
