More roads in disadvantaged areas in Hoa Binh province have been lit up just before the Lunar New Year (Tet), helping to bring spring early, facilitating locals' daily activities and ensuring security and order in the locality.

Ngo Luong is a highland commune of Tan Lac district, it is about 30 km from the district’s center. There are has 351 households in the commune, with 1,703 people, of which Muong ethnic group accounts for over 90%. According to survey data on the multi-dimensional poverty line of Lac Son district by 2022, the poor households account for 19.32%, the near-poor households account for 17.49%. Of these, more than 900 households in difficult circumstances need attention, housing support and capital help to develop production, stabilize their lives and escape poverty sustainably.
