Hoa Binh province has paid due attention to developing Party membership in non-state enterprises, helping improve the role of the Party committees, organisations and members in the firms.

The organisation board of the Party Committee of Luong Son district discusses measures to step up Party development in non-state businesses.

As many as 112 members have been admitted to the Party while 17 new Party cells have been established in private businesses since 2020.

The province currently hosts 5,033 private enterprises, marking an 18% increase from 2020. The private sector now contributes over 50% to the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP). The Party building work in the firms has been given greater attention, with their Party organisations having encouraged Party members and workers to comply with the law as well as the businesses’ rules.

Deputy head of the organisation board of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen The Dung said that the province has strengthened the Party building work in the non-state sector, with working groups established under the communal Party committees to oversee the initiative.

Besides, the Party committees at all levels have accompanied local firms, helping them have a deeper insight into the Party’s guidelines and the State’s regulations on the sustainable development of the businesses and ensure the legitimate rights of workers, he added.

There are 968 Party members in private firms, he said, adding most of them have high professional qualifications, leading the way in exploring new methods to bring economic benefits to the companies, contributing to the local economic development.
