Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, the alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to provide opinions on several investment projects within the province. There was the attendance of Ms. Bui Thi Minh, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Bui Đuc Hinh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and other members of the Standing Committee; the leaders from other departments, agencies, and some localities.

The delegates gave opinions on the proposals from the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee regarding: the approval of the investment policy and investor selectionfor the project on construction and business of infrastructure forLac Thinh Industrial Parklocated in Hang Tram township and Lac Thinh commune, Yen Thuy district. The project covers 220 hectares, with a total investment of approximately 1,700 billion VND, a 50-year operational term and a projected implementation period of 36 months.

The approval of the investment policyfor the project on the construction and business of infrastructure for Dam Duong Industrial Clusterin Tan My commune, Lac Son district. The project covers approximately 73.46 hectares, with a total investment of over 522 billion VND. The project's goal is to create a favorable environment to attract investors, promote economic growth, improve local residents’ income and quality of life and generate employment, particularly in the industrial and supporting service sectors. The project aligns with the province’s socio-economic development orientation to 2030, with a vision to 2050.

The approval of the investment policyfor the project on the infrastructure construction of Du Sang Industrial Cluster, located in Du Sang and Vinh Tien communes, Kim Boi district. The project covers approximately 74 hectares of land and includes an operations and public service center, technical zone, warehouses, water supply and drainage systems, wastewater treatment, internal roads, power and lighting systems, and telecommunications infrastructure. The total investment is 935 billion VND.

In the concluding speech, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the Standing Committee agrees with the proposals to approve the investment policies for the industrial parks and clusters, contributing to the local economic restructuring. The Standing Committee assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee to direct the Provincial People’s Committee to implement these projects in accordance with the law and in line with the local realities.

Also at the meeting, the delegates gave opinions on the proposals from the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee regarding theecotourism, resort, and recreational projectsin special-use forests for Thuong Tien Nature Reserve Hang Kia – Pa Co Nature Reserve, Ngoc Son – Ngo Luong Nature Reserve, Phu Canh Nature Reserve in the period of 2021–2030,

Regarding these contents, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the proposals to study the use of the forest environmental services to support socio-economic development. He assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee to direct departments and agencies to comprehensively assess the current state of nature reserves in terms of area, forest quality, and ecosystems; and to survey the local communities living in these areas and assess their incomes.

In addition, the Standing Committee gave opinions on a proposal regarding thereassignment of district- and city-level medical centersfrom district and city People’s Committees to fall under thedirect management of the Provincial Department of Health, along with other important matters.
