As Christmas is nearing, a delegation led by President of the Hoa Binh provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee Bui Van Luyen visited and offered greetings to Di Dan Parish in Hang Tram town (Yen Thuy district), along with Vu Ban Parish in Vu Ban town and Muong Cat Parish in Van Nghia commune (Lac Son district).

Over the past years, thanks to the Party, State, and localities’ attention as well as local residents’ efforts, the material and spiritual lives of Catholic followers in Hoa Binh have improved.

At the parishes, the delegation presented flowers and gifts from the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and VFF Committee. They also extended the best wishes to the entire parishioners on Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025.

The officials expressed their hope that in the time ahead, the parishes will continue encouraging local followers to comply with the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws.

Besides, Catholic followers should stay united to develop livelihoods, actively participate in local emulation movements, uphold patriotism, lead a good secular and religious life, build a civilised lifestyle, and contribute to the great national unity bloc, thereby helping with the common development of Hoa Binh province.

On behalf of local parishioners, priests thanked the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and VFF Committee, along with local Party committees and administrations for their greetings and encouragement for parishioners on the occasion of Christmas 2024.

The priests said they will keep encouraging followers to adhere to the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, actively engage in all local movements and activities, and join hands in developing their localities.
