The Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee convened on February 27 to discuss key socio-economic development plans, with Party Secretary Nguyen Phi Long chairing the meeting.

The meeting focused on several critical proposals,
including the Da Bac district Regional Construction Plan through 2040 and
adjustments to the Hien Luong eco-tourism and afforestation project. Delegates
also reviewed reports on delayed and inefficient projects, mineral resource
management for construction materials, and preparations for Hoa Binh’s 140th
founding anniversary in 2026. Additionally, they assessed progress on state
budget revenue targets set by the 17th Provincial Party Congress for the
2020-2025 term.
In his concluding remarks, Party Secretary Nguyen
Phi Long expressed strong support for the Da Bac development plan and the
adjusted eco-tourism project, emphasising the need for Da Bac District to
leverage its natural strengths, improve infrastructure, and boost tourism and
agriculture to drive economic growth and alleviate poverty.
Regarding the province’s 140th anniversary
celebration, he underscored the event’s political significance and urged timely
completion of commemorative projects.
He also called on local authorities to enhance
business conditions, strengthen competitiveness, and support private sector
growth to meet state budget targets and foster sustainable economic
development.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
In recent years, the education and training sector in Cao Phong district, Hoa Binh province, has actively integrated its tasks with the promotion of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics, and style.
