Over the past nearly 60 years, the solidarity, mutual support and
comprehensive cooperation between the two countries have been consolidated and
developed, becoming a valuable asset of the two Parties and nations, Luu
said.
He commented on the thriving bilateral political ties with the regular exchange
of all-level delegations, especially at the high-level one, via the State,
Party and NA channels.
The maintenance and improvement of cooperation and dialogue mechanisms, and the
exchange of views at international organisations and forums have contributed to
tightening the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two
countries, the legislator said.
Vietnam always keeps a close watch on the situation in Cuba, and has been delight
at achievements the Cuban Party, State and people have recorded, especially the
upgrade of the economic model, he said, adding that Vietnam is ready to share
its experience with Cuba.
For his part, Alberto told his host that he and his entourage met with
Vietnamese experts to learn from their legislative experience since Cuba will
continue to focus on amending its Constitution in the time ahead.
He pledged to make more contributions to deepening the solidarity and
comprehensive cooperation between the Parties, States, legislatures and people
of the two countries.
