(HBO) - "Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign" is held from June 3 to August 31, 2018 with a variety of contents oriented to grassroots. Implementing the theme of The Youth create and volunteer for the community”, the campaign will be held in 100% of communes, wards and towns in the province, of which the focus is on the extremely difficult communes, the pollution areas of domestic waste and the communes registering to reach the target of New Rural Construction” – Mr. Hoang Duc Minh, the Deputy Secretary of the provincial Youth Union said.

the start program of the annual volunteer summer campaign.
Even they have
just started the campaign, many young people have planned and prepared for
volunteer activities for the community. Nguyen Nhu Quynh, the Chairman of the
provincial Youth Club shared: During this summer's volunteer campaign, the Club
plans to organize young intellectuals to transfer technology advances to young
people and local people, encourage club members to actively participate in
"Volunteering Saturday" activities to advise and assist people on
administrative procedures, especially in the areas of interest, etc. This
activity may create more spaces, new volunteer environment for club members in
particular and the Youth members in general for training and dedication. This
also creates a multiplicity of people to join volunteer together for a more
developed community in future.
In the volunteer
youth campaign this year, the young people throughout the province continue to
concentrate on the implementation of the "Supporting the exam season"
and 4 focused campaigns of "Green summer", "Red phoenix
flowers", "Pink holiday "Green marching" with the
appropriate contents to bring into play the competence and specialization for
each target group, such as: students, youth workers, official staffs and
Military force youth. The campaign has set up a target of repairing 30 km,
renewing 4 km of rural roads, building 7 new civilized streets with criteria
"bright - green - clean - nice and safe"; building two charity
houses, gratitude houses, red scarf houses, semi-boarding houses; examining and
providing free medicine for 5,000 local people; training start-up knowledge for
1,000 rural youth; building 3 new activity sites, playing areas for young
people and teenagers; helping 120 children in difficult situations, etc.
The 17th-tenure Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee recently convened its 20th meeting. The session was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Bui Thi Minh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People's Council; and Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee. Also in attendance were other members of the provincial Party Committee and leaders of several provincial departments and agencies.
A delegation of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam led by Ambasador Sandeep Arya paid a working trip to Hoa Binh province on April 1, aiming to explore cooperation opportunities.
