HBO – The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hoa Binh province has organised an "all people protect national security” day in 2018. Attending the event were Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Cuu, who is also head of the Steering Board for Nine Provinces, and Major General Luong Ngoc Duong, deputy head of the department on "all people protect national security” movement (V28) under the Ministry of Public Security.
Over the past years, implementing the "all people protect
national security” movement, the Youth Union executive boards from provincial
to grassroots level have seriously followed guiding documents and directions of
the Party Central Committee, the provincial Party Committee and People’s
Committee, and the Steering Board for Nine Provinces. They have also taken the
initiative in preventing crimes and misbehaviours among young people,
contributing to ensuring security and order in the locality.

Agreement signed to encourage Hoa Binh youths to participate in
ensuring security and order, fighting crimes and social evils.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van
Cuu asked the provincial Youth Union to intensify coordination with relevant agencies
to better dissemination of laws for youths, organise activities to visit those
who have made great contributions to combating crimes and social evils and
ensuring security, religious dignitaries and prestigious people in ethnic
minority groups and the community in general to promote their role in ensuring
security and order and encourage others to participate in safeguarding national
security.
The union was requested to increase the quality and
efficiency of and expand models of youth unionists joining crime combat, study
new models, and help young violators not to commit crimes again and reintegrate
into the community.
On this occasion, one individual of the provincial Youth
Union received the Ministry of Public Security’s national security protection
insignia, while certificates of merit of the V28 Department were granted to two
collectives and three individuals. One collective and two individuals received
certificates of merit from the Director of provincial Police, and three collectives
and four individuals were awarded the provincial Youth Union’s certificates of
merit. Also at the event, representatives of youths in several districts and
city signed an agreement pledging to participate in ensuring security and
order, fighting crimes and social evils./.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
In recent years, the education and training sector in Cao Phong district, Hoa Binh province, has actively integrated its tasks with the promotion of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics, and style. This approach has contributed significantly to improving the overall quality of education across the district.
The Hoa Binh provincial museum on May 16 opened a thematic exhibition "Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam" with more than 200 documents, images and objects featuring the glorious 95-year journey of the Party.
Hoa Binh police are collecting public feedback on amendments to the 2013 Constitution via the national identification app VNeID. This innovative approach marks a giant leap towards modernising grassroots democracy and enhancing transparency in public consultation.
Nguyen Phi Long, alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee, on May 14 chaired a meeting of the provincial steering committee for its programme to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated housing for the poor. The session reviewed the programme’s outcomes to date and discussed forthcoming tasks.
