(HBO) – The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee held a ceremony on August 22 to present Party membership badges to current and former provincial leaders. Attending the event were Permanent Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Tran Dang Ninh and Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Quang, among others.

At the ceremony, Permanent Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Tran Dang Ninh presented the 30-year Party membership badge to Bui Van Tinh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and the 50-year Party membership badge to Ha Cong Dong, former Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Ninh also granted the 40-year Party membership badge to Nguyen Xuan Thu, former member of the provincial Party Committee and former Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

This is the noble award of the Party which aims to recognise the significant contributions of Party members to the cause of national building and defence.

Speaking at the function, Permanent Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Tran Dang Ninh congratulated the Party membership badge awardees and hoped they will continue promoting the revolutionary spirit and virtue of a Party member in order to contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolutions of the multi-level Party Congresses for the 2015-2020 tenure./.
