(HBO) – The trade unions at local industrial parks in collaboration with Luong Son district’s confederation of labour organised the "Tet sum vay 2019” (Warm Tet Festival 2019) for workers in the locality. The event was attended by Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Tran Dang Ninh, leaders from the provincial Confederation of Labour, the management board of the local industrial parks, local firms and some 500 workers.

Besides enjoying stellar art performances at the event, the workers had chance to join the "lucky draw” game with essential items on offer.

As many as 103 Tet gifts and 200 free coach tickets were delivered to workers at local industrial parks by the province’s Confederation of Labour. Meanwhile, Luong Son district’s confederation of labour presented 150 gifts to disadvantaged labourers; An Thinh Real Estate joint Stock Company presented ten gifts each worth 500,000 VND to workers with difficult circumstances.

HNT Vina Co.,Ltd and Esquel Garment Manufacturing Co.,Ltd each gave 10 and 18 Tet gifts to their excellent workers.

On the occasion, the province’s Confederation of Labour presented certificates of merit to six enterprises who have sound policies for employees, namely HNT Vina Co., Ltd, Minh Trung Co., Ltd, Esquel Garment Manufacturing Co.,Ltd, Nissin Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd, Dai Hung Tuynel joint Stock Company and Luong Son building material company.

"Tet sum vay” is a practical activity held for workers ahead of Tet. The programme attracted the participation of many organisations and businesses. It also promoted the roles and positions of the trade union in taking spiritual and material care for workers, especially those with difficult circumstances./.
