(HBO) – On February 2 - the 28th day of the last lunar month - a high-ranking delegation led by Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, paid a pre-Tet visit to officers and soldiers of the border guard station at the Long Sap border gate in Moc Chau district, Son La province. They also visited people in Chieng Son, Chieng Khua and Long Sap communes in Moc Chau district, along with residents in Pa Hang-Huoi Hieng residential area of Laos’ Hua Phan province and Lao border guards.

On this occasion, the Party Committee of Hoa Binh province sent two tonnes of
Cao Phong orange to officers and soldiers of the border guard station at the
Long Sap border gate. Through the gift, leaders and people of Hoa Binh province
want to extend their sentiments to the officers and soldiers who have been on
guard during the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival to ensure security and safety at
the border area.
The border guard
station manages and protects 39.9km of border line, 21 border markers and one
main border gate. Opposite to the border
area under the management of the force is Sop Bau district of the Lao province
of Hua Phan. The communes of Chieng Son, Chieng Khua and Long Sap have 4,077
households with 16,885 people.
The officers and
soldiers have been on duty during the Tet holiday. On this occasion, the
station organised a programme offering gifts and free health check-ups to local
poor households, social policy beneficiaries, needy children and those who have
actively participated in border protection./.

Each year, it draws numerous visitors from across Vietnam and abroad, becoming a "red address" for educating young generations on the nation's revolutionary traditions.
According to the Party Charter, Party members who have been active in the revolution for a long time, and have maintained their Party membership for 30 years and more, will be awarded the Party badge. This is a noble reward, not only a source of pride and excitement for the Party members themselves and their families, but also a source of pride for the Party organisation that has such outstanding members who are shining examples for everyone to learn from and follow.
