(HBO) - A sub-committee in charge of information, reception and art performances for the third congress of ethnic minority groups in the northwestern province of Hoa Binh convened a meeting on May 27 to deploy plans for the organization of the event.

Leaders of Hoa Binh Newspaper discussed the dissemination of information about the congress of ethnic minority groups at district and provincial levels on printed and online newspapers.

The theme of the congress at district and provincial levels reads that: "People of ethnic groups in Hoa Binh province unite together, uphold internal strength and join hands in building new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas, and developing a beautiful homeland of wealth, integration and development.”

The dissemination of information about the congress aims to affirm the consistent policy of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State and the locality on great national unity, as well as honour achievements and contributions of ethnic minority people in the cause of Doi Moi (renewal) and national construction and protection, thereby strengthening trust and creating consensus among ethnic minority people in the leadership of the Party and State.

The information should highlights the achievements in all spheres of the province’s ethnic and national unity affairs, and honour good deeds of ethnic minority people and outstanding collectives and individuals of the province over the periods of revolution.

Contributions of ethnic minority people in the socio-economic development in the 2014-2019 period and the national unity were also mentioned, along with contents to help raise people’s vigilance against hostiles forces that want to take advantage of ethnic affairs and ethnic groups to undermine the State./.
