(HBO) – Chairman of the Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh and other provincial officials recently had a working session with authorities of Lac Son district to review the implementation of local tasks so far this year and work out key solutions for the remaining months of 2019.

Local officials reported that so far this year,
Lac Son district continued to record socio-economic development.
Eight of its communes have satisfied all the 19
criteria of the national target programme on new-style rural area building.
Production and business activities of industries, including craft industry,
have been kept stable with a production value of some 466 billion VND (20.1
million USD). Additionally, more than 22.8 billion VND was collected for the
state budget in Lac Son during the period.
Speaking at the session, Chairman of the Hoa
Binh provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh said for the time ahead, the
district’s authorities need to pay more attention to planning, especially
socio-economic development planning to serve as a basis for compiling the
political report of the provincial Party congress in the time ahead. He also
asked them to ensure the quality of construction, land use and urban planning.
Regarding budget collection and use, he
requested Lac Son to work to increase revenue, particularly through the
collection of land use and lease fees, so as to ensure funding for local
spending.
In terms of investment attraction, the chairman
agreed on support for investors, stressing that provincial authorities will
create favourable conditions and suggest potential businesses invest in the
district so as to promote economic development and create jobs for local
residents./.

To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
