(HBO) – Vice Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh on January 20 visited and offered Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to traffic police officers, and staff and patients at the provincial General Hospital. He was accompanied by officials of the Office of the provincial People’s Committee, the information and education board of the provincial Party Committee, and the People’s Committee of Hoa Binh city.

Extending Tet greetings to traffic police
officers, Khanh highly valued the force’s core role in ensuring traffic safety,
political security, and social order and safety in Hoa Binh province. He said
he hopes the role will continue to be brought into play during the coming Tet.
At the provincial General Hospital, its leading
officials reported that personnel and equipment have been geared up for medical
examination and treatment during the traditional festival. The hospital set up
two teams providing emergency aid and another supporting lower-level clinics to
ensure timely response when necessary. There are about 500 inpatients at the
hospital at present.
Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee
Bui Van Khanh expressed his sympathy for the hospital’s staff on the
difficulties facing them. He highly valued the hospital’s activeness in
preparing personnel and medicine for patient reception and treatment and caring
for patients and their relatives who have to stay at the hospital during Tet.
He expressed his belief that in 2020 and the
following years, the staff of the hospital will keep upholding their sense of
responsibility, improve their professional capacity and ethics, and increase
the quality of medical examination and treatment.
On this occasion, the official also visited
patients who have to continue their treatment at the hospital during Tet./.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
