(HBO) - 2020 is the year Hoa Binh must intensify efforts to implement the Resolutions of the 12th National Party Congress and the 16th provincial Party Congress. Amidst various difficulties and challenges, the Party organization, administration and people of all ethnic groups in the province have upheld the spirit of solidarity, dynamism and creativity, made tremendous efforts and gained important achievements across the fields, from socio-economy, to national defence, security and political system building.
Hoa Binh has
created positive changes in the socio-economic situation, fulfilling and
over-fulfilling 19 out of the total 21 targets set in 2019. The economic
restructuring has shifted along the desired direction. The province’s gross
regional domestic product (GRDP) expanded by an estimated 9.05 percent, and
GRDP per capita reached 58.9 million VND. Total budget collection came to 4
trillion VND.
The province
has paid due attention to the building of the Party, administration, Vietnam
Fatherland Front and other political and social mass organisations.
With the
specific instructions and efforts of the administration at all levels, all
sectors and the entire political system, Hoa Binh has basically fulfilled
economic targets set by the Resolution of the 16th provincial Party
Congress, which were earlier said to be hard to achieve. 18 out of the 20
targets were fulfilled or exceeded. The province’s image, potential, landscape
advantage, environment and ethnic cultural identity have been preserved and
developed.
Hoa Binh is
the target of many large-scale investment projects. Many big economic groups
have worked with officials of the province and relevant sectors as well as
localities to survey, study and propose large-scale investment projects,
focusing on urban areas, resorts and support industry, promising a boon for
local socio-economic development.
2020 is the
last year the province implements the Resolution of the 16thprovincial Party Congress. During the year, Party organisations at all levels
in the province will hold Party congresses, advancing to the 13thNational Party Congress.
In such
context, the Party organization and people of all ethnic groups in Hoa Binh
should continue to uphold the spirit of unity, dynamism, creativity, enhance
the sense of responsibility, strongly renew the way of thinking and acting, and
make stronger efforts to fulfill the targets set by the Resolution of the 16thprovincial Party Congress and the five-year socio-economic development plan
(2016-2020), and successfully organize Party congresses at all levels towards
the 13th National Party Congress as well as the elections of
deputies to the National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils in the
2021-2026 tenure./.
