(HBO) – A delegation of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat led by Tran Thanh Man, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, paid a visit to Hoa Binh province on March 26.

In his remarks, Man lauded Hoa Binh’s implementation of political tasks, and asked the province to continue to seriously materialise Directive No. 35-CT/TW and guidelines of the Party Central Committee regarding the organisation of all-level Party congresses, towards the 13th National Party Congress.
He underlined the need to well perform political and ideological education and the communication work in order to encourage people, the entire Party and army to successfully realise resolutions adopted at all-level Party congresses. Attention should be paid to enhancing political will and capacity of young and ethnic minority officials, he said.
The official urged the Fatherland Front and political and social organisations to play an active role in organising the congresses. Another task is fighting hostile forces and opposing distorted allegations and false information on the social network, Man added.
He said the Secretariat and the Government are taking drastic measures against the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee launched a campaign calling for public response to the COVID-19 combat more than one week ago, organisations and individuals have donated and registered to donate more than 500 billion VND to the drive.
Hoa Binh needs to mobilise the involvement of the entire political system and the public in the disease combat, continue to seriously observe relevant instructions of the Secretariat and the Prime Minister, encourage people to follow recommendations of the health sector, prevent big gatherings, monitor the developments of the disease through visits to each household in order to minimise sources of infections, early detect infection cases, seal off affected areas and provide timely and effective treatment to patients.
The same day, the delegation visited medical workers at the provincial General Hospital. The Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee presented a negative pressure room worth 500 million VND to the hospital. The The provincial Fatherland Front also granted 20 million VND to the hospital in support of its COVID-19 check-up and treatment./.
