(HBO) – Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh on December 23 led a working delegation to visit and extend Christmas greetings at Hoa Binh parish in Hoa Binh city.


The delegation included head of the provincial Party Committee’s mass mobilisation commission and President of the province’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Tien Luc, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Cong Su, and leaders of several departments and sectors.

Hoa Binh parish in Hung Hoa diocese has more than 3,000 parishioners. Receiving attention and support from the Party, State, they have enjoyed better living conditions in the past time.

On the occasion, Hinh briefed the parishioners of the local cultural-socio-economic situation, and praised the parish and its followers’ contributions to the province’s development.

He expressed his hope that the followers will continue to carry out the Party and State’s policies, promote solidarity, and joined hands to build a more prosperous locality.

He also asked the parishioners to pay due heed to COVID-19 prevention measures during the Christmas holiday.

On behalf of the parishioners, priest Giuse Nguyen Trung Thoai thanked the local leaders for their congratulations, and said he was delighted at the province’s recent achievements.

He affirmed that he will encourage the parishioners to abide by the Party and State’s policies and guidelines, strictly implement COVID-19 prevention measures, as well as enhance production to contribute more to the locality’s development./.
