The district Party Organisation has 33 grassroots Party organisations, including 17 Party cells, with 5,703 Party members. The district Party Organisation has directed the strict implementation of directives and resolutions on Party building, focused on improving the leadership and combat strength of Party organisations and members, promoted the role of Party committees and heads of all-level local authorities in instructing the realization of the Party’s resolutions, thus helping fulfill political tasks and developing the district into a dynamic economic region of Hoa Binh province.

The district Party Committee’s Standing Board has concentrated on leading and putting forward specific and prompt solutions to improve the Party committees and organisations’ awareness of and responsibility for the position and role of grassroots Party organisations and increase their leadership capacity and combat strength in the current context in line with implementing political missions. It has also dealt with arising issues, especially urgent ones, in Party building at the district Party Organisation in conformity with the locality’s situation.

The district Party Committee has assigned key officials and Party members and authorized offices to keep a close watch on issues at the grassroots level to achieve effective direction. Based on principles of the Party Charter, grassroots Party organisations have promoted its role as core political organisations at the grassroots level. The district Party Committee always pays attention to improving the leadership capacity of grassroots Party organisations, firstly the capacity of the Party committees and the role and responsibility of the committees’ heads, and strictly follows the principles of Party organisation and activities, and increases the quality of Party cells’ activities.

Officials and Party members in the district Party Organisation have seriously performed their responsibility of setting themselves as examples. The Party’s inspection and supervision works have focused on sensitive aspects where violations can happen easily. Effectively conducting Party building on morality has contributed to preventing degradation on political thought, morality and lifestyle, the manifestations of "self- evolution” and "self-transformation” among officials and Party members, especially managers and leaders of organisations, agencies and units, thus helping form a contingent of officials and public servants who have firm political mettle, pure virtues and high sense of responsibility.

In 2020, the district Party Organisation fulfilled 16 out of 18 criteria and tasks, with outstanding ones such as State budget collection hitting 380 billion VND, equal to 121.4 percent of the estimates assigned by the province and 102.2 percent of the estimates assigned by the district and 153 percent compared to that of 2019. The export turnover was estimated at 480 million USD, up 14 percent year-on-year. To date, the district has had 190 projects, including 23 FDI ones totaling 298.9 million USD and 167 domestic ones totaling 19.3 trillion VND. It has 53 cooperatives and one cooperative branch. Per capita GRDP reached 83.5 million VND and per capital income reached 39.76 million VND last year. Up to 31 out of 33 grassroots Party organisations well fulfilled their missions. Defence and security were maintained, and political security and social safety and order remained stable, locals’ living conditions improved, and locals trust in the leadership of the local Party Organisation and authorities increased./.
