(HBO) - An inter-sector inspection team, on June 8, unexpectedly examined the Da River left bank industrial park in line with the Hoa Binh steering committee for COVID-19 prevention and control’s Decision 107/QD-BCD on the establishment of the team to inspect anti-pandemic work at production - businesses establishments and industrial parks.

Per the inspection, the GGS Vietnam Co. Ltd. and R Technical
Research Vietnam Co. Ltd. have so far adhered to regulations on COVID-19
prevention and control, with 100 percent of their employees wearing masks at
work and engaging in pre-work sanitation and body temperature check activities.
The companies have arranged QRcode-scanning spots for the use of the Ncovi
application, prepared pandemic-prevention options for different levels, and
intensified communications campaigns to raise workers’ awareness on the matter.
R Technical Research Vietnam has conducted distancing
measures for workers at its factory and allowed workers to go to the canteen in
groups to avoid mass gathering. It also disinfected all of its building and prepared
a quarantine area with hundreds of beds.
The team pointed out the companies’ shortcomings,
particularly those of the GGS Vietnam including an overcrowded workshop and
lacking of quarantine rooms in line with regulations, among other things.
The team recommended the firms quickly address their
problems to ensure safe production, sign a commitment to implementing pandemic
prevention regulations with the provincial management board of industrial
parks, and update the COVID-19 map twice a week.
Every week, the companies have been requested to carry out
rapid antigen testing for 20 percent of their workforce./.
