(HBO) Recently, the Red Cross of Tan Lac district has organized many practical, meaningful and humane activities aimed at the vulnerable and the poor affected by Covid-19 pandemics.

Ms. Bui Thi Biem, Muong Khum hamlet, Phong Phu commune (Tan Lac) has been supported with the breeding cow for developing economy by the district’s Red Cross. 

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tra, the Chairman of the district’s Red Cross said: "Due to the complicated development of Covid-19 epidemics, society has been affected, many people have lost their jobs, the incomes have decreased, and they have fallen into difficult circumstances. Since the beginning of the year, the Red Cross has organized many practical and effective programs towards the grassroots levels, supporting the vulnerable and the poor in the area. Besides, the movements and the models such as: "Each organization and individual attaches to a humanitarian address”, " The Humanitarian month”, building " a Red Cross house”, the bank of cows have brought positive effects, encouraging and helping the poor relievethe difficulties during the epidemic season”.

As a role of a bridge in the humanitarian activities, Red Cross at all levels have coordinated with other organizations and the individuals inside and outside the area to carry out activities such as giving gifts, supporting money, rice, food, medical face masks, for those who are in difficult circumstances, losing their jobs, being isolated for the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemics in the local areas. Implementing the movement "Tet for the poor and the victims of Agent Orange” in 2021, the district’s Red Cross and the apprropriate branches visited, encouraged and gave gifts with a total value of over 687 million to 985 people in difficult circumstances. The Red Cross coordinated with Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup, the group of People's Happiness... to give 645 breeding animals (cow, chicken, goat) with the total value of over 320 million dongs to the people in Ngoc My, Nhan My, Suoi Hoa communes, which have helped them have more sources of livelihood to overcome difficulties in life. Supporting those who have been afected by Covid-19 epidemic, they have allocated rice, porridge, thousands of medical face masks at the Health Centers, blocked and isolated areas in the district. Along with that, the Red Cross has organized 2 mobile propaganda campaigns on preventing and controlling Covid-19 epidemics to many remote areas, reaching over 3,500 people, helping to improve the skills on the disease prevention. From the resources of the organizations and individuals inside and outside the area, the Red Cross has built 4 houses worth nearly 250 million dongs for the poor households in Gia Mo, Nhan My, Lo Son, Phu Cuong since the beginning of the year.

 The humanitarian and charity activities deployed by the district’s Red Cross to each grassroots levels have shown the concern of the organizations, the individuals and the whole society to the poor and the jobless during the outbreak of the disease. Thereby, it has been promoting the spirit of solidarity, mutual love in the community, helping the vulnerable to overcome difficulties during the epidemic season.

Provincial People's Committee holds monthly meeting

The Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee held its monthly conference in virtual form on April 2 to review draft documents to be submitted to the standing board of the provincial Party Committee and others under its management along with some other important issues. Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh chaired the event, which was connected with the people's committees of districts and cities in Hoa Binh.
