(HBO) – The Standing Board of the Party Committee of Hoa Binh held a meeting on August 4 under the chair of member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Ngo Van Tuan, focusing on the construction of the Hoa Lac-Hoa Binh Expressway, the Action Plan to realise the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, and activities to celebrate the 135th anniversary of the province and 30th anniversary of Hoa Binh province’s re-establishment, among others.

At the meeting, participants agreed that investment in building the Hoa Lac-Hoa
Binh Expressway is necessary, aiming to synchronise the expressway route of
Hanoi-Hoa Binh-Son La-Dien Bien, connecting Hanoi with northwestern localities,
easing traffic load in National Highway 6 and ensuring the synchronism of the
planed transport infrastructure.
In order to ensure the feasibility of the project, they proposed that the
provincial People’s Committee take the charge of the project’s implementation
in the form of public-private partnership (PPP) with the use of State budget.
The project will be carried out in the 2021-2025 period, with ground clearance
in Hanoi area undertaken by Hanoi.
Addressing the meeting, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of
the provincial Party Committee Ngo Van Tuan stressed that the implementation of
the project to expand the Hoa Lac-Hoa Binh Expressway under the PPP form is
significant to the province, helping complete the transport infrastructure and
boost local socio-economic development, promoting Hoa Binh’s growth. In order
to attract investors, the province should prepare land reserve, he said.
Underlining the need of completing, supplementing the action plan to realise
the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the resolution of the
17th provincial Party Congress, Tuan asked the Office of the provincial Party
Committee to revise the scheme with detail goals and solutions.
Regarding the organisation of activities to celebrate the 135th anniversary of
the province and 30th anniversary of Hoa Binh’s re-establishment, the provincial
leader stressed the need to prepare scenarios to deal with the complicated
developments of the pandemic, thus safely holding the activities to mark the
development milestones of the province, promoting the pride of the locality,
paying tribute to contributors, introducing the potential as well as the
culture and people of Hoa Binh, and attracting more investment in
socio-economic development./.
