(HBO) – In the 2021 - 2022 academic year, organisations, individuals, and Party cells in Chi Ne township of Lac Thuy district have become sponsors of 24 disadvantaged students and provided assistance to 12 others, with total aid worth more than 61 million VND (over 2,600 USD). This is viewed as a meaningful and practical deed by local cadres, Party members, and philanthropists in studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, moral example, and style.

Members of the Chi Ne Party Committee have regularly
monitored the operation of models of studying and following President Ho Chi
Minh’s example in local residential areas, sectors, and organisations.
Over the past years, the township Party Committee has
boosted the dissemination of the Politburo’s Directive 05 on promoting the
study and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s example among local Party cells
and members. After the merger of administrative units, the Party organisation
of Chi Ne has 776 Party members in 23 subordinate Party cells at present.
By following President Ho Chi Minh’s example and making
self-improvement, cadres, Party members, and people’s awareness has improved
considerably. Notably, locals have donated more than 110 million VND (4,800
USD) in cash and in kind to Ho Chi Minh City’s combat against COVID-19, nearly
38 million VND to the local COVID-19 prevention and control fund, and another
51 million VND to the Fund for the Poor. This is a vivid demonstration of the
consensus, solidarity, and unanimity among the local Party committee,
administration, and residents.
In addition, the township Party Committee has paid attention
to the formation and implementation of various models for studying and
following the President’s example, including those in which women assist one
another to develop livelihoods, people work together to ensure safety for the
vicinity of school gates, and war veterans help with environmental hygiene and
security - order ensuring.
Thanks to those models, a number of exemplars in studying
and following the President’s example have appeared, including Secretary of the
Party cell in Zone 3 Bui Chien Dich; Nguyen Thi Bich Loi, a resident in Zone 2;
and Vu Duy Huong, member of the Chi Ne war veterans’ association.
Bui Van Thien, Secretary of the Chi Ne Party Committee, said
to win over support from cadres, Party members, and the public, leaders of
Party committees, administrations, sectors, and organisations must set a good
example first. It is also necessary to step up communications about the Politburo’s
Directive 05 among Party members and people in various forms that match each
area’s conditions. Besides, authorities need to ensure donation transparency,
win people’s consensus in developing models, and commend exemplars in a timely
manner./.
