(HB0) – A delegation led by Ngo Van Tuan, Secretary of Hoa Binh province Party’s Committee, offered incense at a historical site in Hoa Binh Socialist Young Workers School in Hoa Binh city’s Yen Mong commune where President Ho Chi Minh visited on the occasion of his 132nd birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2022).

Ngo Van Tuan, Secretary of Hoa Binh province People’s Committee and other delegates listen to a presentation about the Hoa Binh Socialist Young Workers School’s history.

On April 1, 1958, the Hoa Binh Socialist Young Workers School was founded in the context that the country was promoting economic recovery and healing the wounds of war.

On August 17, 1962, Uncle Ho paid a visit to the school where he had talks with more than 400 leaders of Hoa Binh province and districts and communes in Hoa Binh as well as 1,200 officials, teachers and students of the school.

"Hoa Binh Socialist Young Workers School is a very creative model of leaders of Hoa Binh province. It is suitable for the situation in the North when the region was building socialism while serving as the base for the struggle to liberate the South,” Tuan wrote in a souvenir book at the relic.

Thanks to the efforts of teachers, students and the attention of the Party and State, the school has become a symbol of success in that period as seen in numerous noble awards conferred to the school by the Party and State. It has also become an outstanding model for other countries around the world to follow.

He hoped that the spirit and enthusiasm of the school's generations of students will be promoted. They will follow Uncle’s teachings- that is "to study well, work well, strive forever, make progress forever" to contribute to the development of the province.

Tuan also asked local authorities to continue to pay attention to the preservation of the relic for popularising revolutionary tradition for the young generations, and the local people and visitors as well./.
