(HBO) - Vice Secretary of Hoa Binh province’s Party Committee Bui Duc Hinh provided a briefing on outstanding results in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle in the locality, and orientations for the work in the coming time, on the occasion of the 132nd birth anniversary of the late President.
Mr Ngo Van Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; and others discuss with Dr. Doan Van Bau, Director of the Department of Political Theory under the Commission for Information and Education of the Party Central Committee at a symposium on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle in 2022.
According to Hinh, the work has been included in an action plan to implement the 13th National Party Congress’s resolution, and associated with the effective implementation of programmes, plans and projects on socio-economic development and sustainable poverty reduction in the locality.
Attention has been also paid to promoting emulation movements, which have been responded to by a large number of cadres, soldiers, civil servants, public employees, laborurers, and people from all walks of life.
Despite being heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Hoa Binh still strived to overcome difficulties and achieve comprehensive results in all fields.
Last year, the locality completed 16 out of the 21 targets set in the provincial Party Congress’s resolution, ensuring great balances of its economy.
The province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) increased by 3.07 percent while per capita income reached 61.5 million VND. The rate of poor households decreased to 6.6 percent.
In the coming time, local authorities will focus on raising awareness of Party members and people about the great values and significance of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style; and strictly implementing the plan to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style in association with the implementation of the 13th Party Congress’s resolution, and the resolution of the provincial Party congresses at all levels in the 2020 – 2025 tenure.
The locality will also pay heed to stepping up the fight against false information and views, and distortion claims of hostile forces; combating "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" manifestations in Party organisations; and discovering and praising typical collectives and individuals with prominent achievements in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle./.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
