(HBO) – The Party Committee of Binh Thanh commune (Cao Phong district) for the 2020 – 2025 term gathers six female members, accounting for 46% of the total. The percentage of female cadres holding management positions in in the commune accounts for 40%.

Binh Thanh is one of
the leading localities in Cao Phong district in terms of female personnel work. Secretary of the communal Party Committee Dinh The Van said the female
personnel work in the locality has been paid attention in recent years. By many
specific measures, the contingent of female officials in the locality has
improved in quality and increased in number. They have well fulfilled their
role and responsibilities as well as affirmed their ability in work.
Nguyen Thi Son (born in 1973), Vice Secretary of the communal Party Committee
for the 2020-2025 tenure, said with the encouragement and facilitation of
higher-level officials, she always strives to improve her qualifications in
leadership and management. "I always make every effort to complete all the assigned tasks”, she said.
Along with Son, many women in Binh Thanh were elected to important positions
such as Vice Chairwoman of the communal Party Committee’s inspection board,
Vice Chairwoman of the communal People's Council, Chairwoman of the communal
Fatherland Front Committee and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth
Union(HCYU)’s chapter in the commune.
In particular, nine out of 14 women, including young people, have been included
in the personal planning of the communal Party Committee for the 2025 – 2030
and 2026 – 2030 tenures.
According to Secretary
of the communal Party Committee Dinh The Van, local women have been selected
and assigned tasks based on their competence and forte.
Special attention has been paid to personnel reviewing, planning, training and
fostering, and creating favourable conditions for female cadres to well perform
their tasks, he said./.

Particularly, the two sides signed a joint programme to popularise information on the country's seas and islands in July 2018.
