(HBO) – The Hoa Binh Party Committee Standing Board convened a regular meeting for April on April 12 under the chair of Secretary of the committee Nguyen Phi Long, during which participants focused on a number of important issues related to the local socio-economic development.

Member of the board gave their ideas on a wide range of issues, including a
proposal of the Party Delegation to the provincial People’s Committee on the
investment in a new-style rural residential area with infrastructure and houses
in Quy Hoa commune of Lac Son district.
The area has a total population of 4,428 and a land area of 33,57 hectares. It
has a total capital of over 1.3 trillion VND (554,480 USD).
Another project discussed at the meeting was the one to zone, revive and
protect the natural forest and plant material forest serving the production of
handicraft products in Hoa Binh commune of Hoa Binh city, for which the
investor proposed the adjustment of the project into a forest planting in
association with tourism service project.
Currently, the project area is about 220 hectares, including 30 hectares of
forest needing protection and about 190 hectares of production forest. The
investor asked for 25 hectares of the project area to build an eco-tourism
area.
Concluding the meeting, Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central
Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee, assigned the Party
Delegation to the provincial People’s Committee to review the investment
policies of the projects to ensure that they meet legal regulations.
For the project on zoning, reviving and protecting the natural forest and
planting material forest serving the production of handicraft products in Hoa
Binh commune of Hoa Binh city, the provincial leader underlined the need to pay
attention to the contents related to land lease contract, land use purpose
conversion and current relevant legal regulations.
He asked Party Organisations in Hoa Binh and leaders of provincial departments,
sectors and localities to ensure substantial efficiency in the implementation
of key tasks, making breakthroughs in realising political tasks of the province
in 2023./.

He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
