(HBO) – Winners of the two contests on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle in Hoa Binh province were honoured at a ceremony on May 16.

The award ceremony saw the attendance of Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh, head of the organising committee of the first phase of the contest on composing and promoting literary and press works with the theme of "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle”, and representatives from some departments and agencies.

The contest on composing and promoting literary and press works with the theme of "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle” in the 2021-2025 period was launched on August 31, 2021. After its first phase, the organisers received 92 entries in different types and with diverse topics.

There were six second prizes, nine third prizes and 12 consolation prizes in the contest.

Meanwhile, the online quiz, which took place from April 12 to May 12, 2023, attracted 165,484 participants, including officials and Party members outside the province.

It featured four first prizes, four second prizes and eight third prizes, along with many other auxiliary prizes.

In his remarks, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh spoke highly of successes of the contests, and urged all-level Party Committees, localities and agencies to well follow President Ho Chi Minh’s example, and promote role models in the campaign.

On this occasion, the provincial Party Committee’s Information and Education Board launched the second phase of the contest on composing and promoting literary and press works with the theme of "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle.”./.
