(HBO) – A ceremony to honour youths with outstanding performance in following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings was held by the Youth Union of Hoa Binh province on May 18. Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council and head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education Vo Ngoc Kien attended the event.

representatives of the provincial Youth Union honour 24 outstanding youth union
members.
At the event, 24 outstanding youth union members and young people representing
youths from armed forces and schools; officials and civil servants; workers;
and those from rural and urban sectors, were commended at the event. They are
typical examples of the will to practice and pioneer in studying and following
PresidentHo Chi Minh's thought,morality and style; had many
creative initiatives, consultations and proposals; and achieved outstanding
results in studying and working.
They also actively engage in social activities, and always promote the spirit
of volunteering in learning, working and production movements, significantly
contributing to the province’s socio-economic development.
Earlier the same day, an incense
offering ceremony in commemoration of late PresidentHo Chi Minhwas
held in front of his statueat Hoa Binh Hydropower Planton the
occasion of his 133rd birth anniversary.
A seminar discussing the efforts, aspirations and dedication of youth union
members was also organised./.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
In recent years, the education and training sector in Cao Phong district, Hoa Binh province, has actively integrated its tasks with the promotion of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics, and style. The Hoa Binh provincial museum on May 16 opened a thematic exhibition "Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam" with more than 200 documents, images and objects featuring the glorious 95-year journey of the Party.
