Huong Nhuong commune (Lac Son) has been setting up the ethical standards that are easy to remember and easy to implement for the officers and party members.
Mr. Do Van Bang, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Huong Nhuong Commune, says: In order to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's moral example, the commune has set up the ethical standards for the officers and party members including 6 practical, specific and easy to remember and implement. These are: cultivating quality, morality, the firm political courage, being industrious, economical with thrift, integrity, righteousness, impartiality, responsibility for work; having the spirit of building a united, clean and strong unit; strictly abiding by the regulations promulgated by the Party and State; having the moral character, learning style, training and working style; honesty, purity, simplicity, humility, kindness; effectively and economically using the time, assets and equipment of the agency. The implementation of the ethical standards has helped the officers and employees promote their role as the models and preserve the revolutionary moral qualities.
In order to set the example of the officers and members, the Standing Board of Lac Son District’s Party Committee has directed the Party committees and authorities at all levels to raise the awareness and the importance of studying and following the ideology and morality of Ho Chi Minh's style throughout the period of 2021 - 2025, focusing on closely combining learning and following in work and daily life. The Party committees and the authorities at all levels have proposed the specific and practical solutions to implement Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW and action plan to implement the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress and the Resolution of Party Congresses at all levels. With the motto of always affirming the role of leadership, pioneering, exemplary "top first, bottom later”, "in front first, outside later”, "the Party members go first, the others follow”, the Standing Board of the District’s Party Committee has directed guiding the development of a commitment to carry out the responsibilities of setting an example of the officers and employees, first of all, thye members of the Standing Committee, the members of the Executive Committee of the District’s Party Committee. The district has also promoted the administrative reform in the direction of better serving the needs of the people. In many places, the oficers, the civil servants and the public employees have raised their sense of responsibility, forming a civilized, polite and friendly working style, which is highly appreciated by the people. 100% of Party organizations and the civil servants and public employees have developed plans to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, committing to the responsibility of setting an example, cultivating, training, implementing the criteria and the ethical standards associated with the functions and tasks assigned by the unit to evaluate and classify the party members and civil servants annually.
With the specific and practical actions, the localities, the agencies and units have reviewed and selected the pressing and complex issues of the public interest to focus on solving, creating the positive changes in many fields. They have focused on directing and proposing the solutions from the ground up, basically solving the problems related to the public service ethics of the officers, civil servants and public employees, in the site clearance to implement the investment projects, the environmental sanitation, implementing the regimes and policies, welcoming the citizen, solving the petitions, complaints and denunciations... In rẻoming the administrative procedure, it has been focusing on simplifying the procedures; promoting the implementation of regulations on office culture and public service ethics; strengthening the leadership, directing thrift practice, fighting waste; correcting the manners and working styles, implementing the discipline in State administrative agencies.
As a result, in the district, there have been many good models, effective ways, and good examples of collectives and individuals in various fields. Typically, the model "joining hands for the community life” of the District’s Party Committee of Public Security, in which they have donated 17 cows (worth over 210 million VND) to 17 disadvantaged families, supporting families whose houses have been burnt worth over 80 million dongs and many other practical jobs that have been spreading; the "Accompanying to school” model of the district’s Military Party Committee has donated 160 bicycles, 5 study corners, 70 casio handheld computers, 110 briefcase, 66 scholarships for the students in difficult circumstances, sponsoring 4 poor students until they finish high school (the model was awarded a certificate of merit by the Prime Minister)… Along with many typical individuals such as Mr.Bui Van Huy, the Deputy Head of District’s Department of Education and Training; Mr. Bui Van Chung, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Van Nghia Commune; Mr. Bui Cong Thanh, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Yen Nghiep Commune; Mr. Bui Huy Vong, the Party cell of Bung Coi hamlet, the Party committee of Huong Nhuong commune; Mr. Tran Quang Hai from the Party branch of Lam Hoa 1 street, the Party committee of Vu Binh commune…
