Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, presents a
gift from the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee,
and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to officials and residents in the Muong
Khoi revolutionary base.
The Muong Khoi revolutionary base is one of the
cradles of the province’s revolutionary movement and also part of the Hoa -
Ninh - Thanh revolutionary zone. Here, the Bac Ky (North Vietnam) Party
Committee held concentrated military training courses. The base was also where
many core cadres of the revolutionary movement of Hoa Binh and other northern
provinces used to operate. During the Vietnamese people’s uprising in August
1945, Muong Khoi was the first place where revolutionary forces and people of Hoa
Binh province succeeded in seizing power.
Over the past years, upholding their heroic
hometown’s revolutionary traditions, officials and residents in An Nghia and
Tan My communes have maintained their trust in the Party’s leadership and
joined efforts in socio-economic development and defence - security
safeguarding. As a result, local material and spiritual lives have been
improved unceasingly, with annual per capita income averaging 48 million VND
(about 2,000 USD), while rural areas gained a facelift.

maintaining the revolutionary traditions and comprehensively developing An
Nghia and Tan My into politically firm and economically strong localities with

Welcoming the delegation, Toan provided them with an overview of the province's labour and employment situation, emphasising that in recent years, the provincial Party Committee and authorities have paid significant attention to labour export, created favourable conditions and offered policy support to promote the sending of local workers abroad under contracts.
Mutual love and support is a long-standing tradition of Vietnam. In any circumstance, the Vietnamese people always uphold the traditional spirit of staying united and supporting one another to surmount difficulties and adversities. Continuing this fine tradition, in the face of the 1945 famine, President Ho Chi Minh initiated the "Rice jar to save the hungry” movement and took the lead in implementing this campaign by abstaining from one meal each week to save rice for those without food. His example of morality and affection for people has been and is being followed by residents across Hoa Binh province.
