(HBO) – The Party Committee of Phu Nghia commune in Lac Thuy district has focused on effectively implementing Politburo’s Directive No 05 on promoting the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. As a result, the work has become a regular task of collectives and individuals, creating remarkable changes in the locality.

In line with the "studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" movement, youth union members of Phu Nghia commune (Lac Thuy district) have taken the lead in performing tasks for the community.

The Huong Binh cable car project in Phu Nghia commune is a key project of the province, connecting the iconic scenic Huong Son pagoda (Perfume Pagoda) – a special national relic site in Hanoi's My Duc district to the national relic site of Tien pagoda in Phu Nghia commune.

The project's total investment is about 1.7 trillion VND (71 million USD). The cable car route includes 17 support poles and two stations to pick up and drop off passengers. Seven households in the commune will be relocated to make room for the project.

Defining the project as a key one that is expected to bring new tourism products, contributing to the improve the locality’s socio-economic development, the Party Committee and local authorities have sped up dissemination and mobilised people to support the project’s implementation, said Bui Thi Huyen, deputy secretary of the commune Party’s Committee.

Regarding some households that have not yet agreed with compensation relating to site clearance, the Commune Party Committee directs the Party cells and party members, especially those with their relatives affected by the project to promote their pioneering role and convince people to accept compensation. As a result, the project’s site clearance was completed by December last year. Then it was kicked off in May on schedule.

For many years, the Party Committee of Phu Nghia commune has been evaluated as one of the typical ones in the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No 05.

The studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle has become a regular task in the political system from communes to residential areas. Every year, cadres and party members, especially the leaders of communes to villages and hamlets, voluntarily set an example in this regard by doing specific and practical jobs.

Notably, Party organisations, mass organisations and officials, employees, civil servants and public employees proactively and actively participate in studying, researching, and developing plans in accordance with the annual theme.

The studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in Phu Nghia commune’s Party Committee has been conveyed in various ways.

For example, the commune War Veterans Association provides education relating to traditions for the young generation while the Farmers' Association focuses on economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of its members. The Women's Union implements the model "Say no to plastic waste" in Hamlet 7 and Hamlet 2A with the participation of nearly 200 members.

The official said that in the coming time, the commune Party Committee will continue to promote dissemination and education about the core content of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style and encourage the replication of outstanding models and examples. It will also uphold and enhance the sense of responsibility as well as renovate the working style of employees, civil servants, especially key officials in performing duties and serving the people, she added./.
