(HBO) - Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoa Binh province, and officials of departments, sectors, and Da Bac district on August 25 visited and presented gifts to representatives of the Party Committee, administration and people living in the Muong Diem and Giang Xeo revolutionary bases in Da Bac district. The delegation offered incense at the Muong Diem revolutionary base relic site in Trung Thanh commune.

Over the recent years, promoting the revolutionary tradition of the locality, the Party Committee, administration and people of Trung Thanh commune have made great efforts to overcome difficulties and recorded many important achievements. In the first eight months of this year, the commune’s production value growth expanded by 6.3%, up 1.3% over the same period last year.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Long acknowledged and praised the contributions by the Party Committee, administration and people of Trung Thanh commune to the two resistance wars for national liberation. He suggested the locality continue to promote the revolutionary spirit in the renewal period and enhance solidarity to overcome difficulties, thus promoting the locality’s development.

In Giang Xeo revolutionary base, over the recent years, the Party Committee, administration and people of Cao Son, Tu Ly, Hien Luong, and Toan Son communes have made great efforts to promote socio-economic development, contributing to improving the living standards of local residents.

Long spoke highly of socio-economic development achievements by the Party Committee, administration and locals of the communes. He demanded the localities to focus on educating the educationoftraditions to young people, accelerating new-style rural area development, taking care of policy families and those with meritorious services to the revolution, and taking measures to complete socio-economic development tasks set for 2023.
