The Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee on November 10 held a vote of confidence on its members for the 2020-2025 tenure under the chair of the committee’s Secretary Nguyen Phi Long.

 

Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; and Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee attended the event.

Bui Thi Minh, head of the provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Board, presented a proposal by the Standing Board on the vote of confidence on its 10 members.

In his remarks, Long stressed the significance of the event which aims to implement the Party’s guidelines on Party and political system building and rectification, and stepping up the fight against corruption and other negative phenomena.

The vote also evaluates political qualities, morality, lifestyle, capacity, the fulfillment of assigned tasks, and reputation of the officials, while creating a basis for the Party Committee to conduct personnel training and allocation in the time ahead, he added.

Concluding the session, Long highlighted objectivity and comprehensiveness as reflected in the ballots, and urged the members of the Standing Board to continue improving themselves to meet set requirements.
