The Standing Board of the Party Committee of Luong Son district has made comprehensive efforts in building the Party and the political system, promoting the responsibility of officials and party members in directing the implementation of political tasks, towards developing the district into the core of the economic locomotive zone of Hoa Binh province.

Luong Son Industrial Park (Luong Son district) generate jobs for about 15,000
workers, mainly locals.
The district Party Committee has 31 grassroots Party organizations with 5,836
members (including 6 Party organizations in non-State enterprises with 58 Party
members).
TheStanding Board of the Party Committee of Luong Son district has
focused on promptly and fully propagating the Party Central Committee's guiding
documents in association with implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May
18, 2021 on implementing Directive No. 05 -CT/TW and regulations on the
responsibility for setting example of Party members and officials, especially
leaders; directing Party organisations and Party members to build plans and
make commitments to studying and following PresidentHo Chi Minh's
ideology,moralityand lifestyle.
The district has well performed personnel planning, training, assignment and
use. It has reviewed and supplemented personnel plans for the terms 2020 -
2025, 2021 - 2026, 2025 - 2030, 2026 - 2031. In the first nine months of 2023,
as many as 25 training courses were held to provide knowledge ofpolitical
theory, professional skills, and task performanceskills for officials and
Party members.
TheStanding Board of the district Party Committee has also intensified
inspection and supervision activities, focusing on areas prone to law
violations such as land management, construction and the environment,
contributing to strictly maintaining Party discipline.
The district has 711 smartmassmobilisation models. It has also
deployed and replicated the
"people-friendlyadministration”modelat units responsible
for receiving applications for administrative procedures
andreturningresults in 11 communes and towns.
In the first nine months of 2023, the district organised dialogues with people
in Tan Vinh and Nhuan Trach communes, and well performed the reception of
people and the settlement of complaint and denunciationcases right from
the grassroots level.
According to Secretary of the district’s Party Committee Nguyen Duc Dung, the
locality recorded outstanding results in implementing important political tasks
in the first three quarters of 2023, especially in strengthening the leadership
and administration capacity of Party committees and authorities at all levels,
and improving the business and investment environment.
Luong Son has so far attracted 221 investment projects, including 23 foreign
direct investment projects worth over 304,000 USD, and 198 domestic projects
with total registered capital of over 34.4 trillion VND.
The district authority has focused on removing difficulties and speeding up the
progress of key projects, striving to meet criteria of a township by 2025.
A delegation of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam led by Ambasador Sandeep Arya paid a working trip to Hoa Binh province on April 1, aiming to explore cooperation opportunities. The delegation was received by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, along with Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, and representatives from various departments and agencies.
