The Secretary of Hoa Binh province’s Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long recently visited the Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted.


In the 2021 – 2023 period, the school performs well the functions and tasks of a school for the gifted, with the quality of teaching and learning always at the top of the province. Every year, the graduation rate and the university admission rate reach 100%, and many students are among the top nationwide. The quality of national excellent students has been improved and ranked in the middle of the country's 63 provinces and cities. The management staff and teachers are sufficient in quantity and are trained methodically.

At the meeting, the school proposed the provincial leader to consider the reward mechanism for students and teachers who have won prizes at the national exam for excellent students; build a socialisation mechanism to form a study encouragement fund for the school for the gifted; and invest in building facilities and equipment for teaching and learning to ensure that facilities meet Level-2 national standards.

Long asked the school to continue paying attention to Party building work and well performing political tasks to match the expectations and wishes of officials and people in the province. Teachers were required to continue to improve their professional qualifications and skills, and serve as examples for students to follow.
