Leaders from the provincial Department of Home Affairs, office of the provincial People’s Committee, and the Mass Mobilisation Board of the provincial Party Committee, and competent quarters of Luong Son and Lac Thuy districts on December 19 paid a working visit to and delivered Christmas greetings to Go Mu parish in Thanh Cao commune, Luong Son district, and Dong Gianh parish in Phu Thanh commune, Lac Thuy district.

Dong Gianh parish has two chretientes (communes) with more than 1,700 followers. Meanwhile, Go Mu parish under the Hanoi diocese has nine chretientes with 1,500 followers.

Over the past years, local Catholic followers’ lives have been stable thanks to the Party and State’s support and care. They have preserved and promoted patriotic tradition, and enthusiastically responded to patriotic emulation movements launched by sectors, branches, and local authorities.

Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Dinh Tu presented gifts and flowers to dignitaries and officers, wishing them a merry and peaceful Christmas.

He expressed his hope that the Catholic followers will continue to strictly follow the Party’s guidelines and State’s regulations, making contributions to developing Hoa Binh province.

The dignitaries and officials of the two parishes thanked the provincial Party Committee, provincial People’s Council, provincial People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front for their greetings and care for the Catholic followers.

They wished local leaders and people a Christmas season of health, peace and happiness.
