Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khanh and a delegation of the province on January 23 visited and extended Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to a pre-revolution cadre and a hero of the People’s Armed Forces in districts of Tan Lac and Lac Son



 

On behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Binh province, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khanh presents a Tet gift pre-revolutiona cadre Bui Van Quang in Tan My commune, Lac Son district.


The delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to pre-revolution cadre Bui Van Quang, born in 1930, living in Tan My commune, Lac Son district. Quang made many contributions to the revolution in the wartime, and he was awarded the first-class anti-American resistance order and the third-class labour order for the cause of socialism construction and national defence.

On the same day, the delegation visited and extended Tet greetings to Bui Xuan Hinh, hero of the Vietnam People’s Armed Forces. Hinh was born in 1945 and is living in Man Duc town, Tan Lac district. Hinh, former deputy chief of Staff of Regiment 116, Division 2, Special Forces Arm, was awarded the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces and the second-class soldier of liberation order in recorgnition of his achievements in the anti-American resistance war.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, on behalf of the provincial Party Committee and authorities, the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee and representatives of local departments, agencies and localities visited, encouraged and gave Tet gifts to the former officers. They were urged to teach their children and grandchildren to promote the revolutionary traditions, comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and laws, contributing to the homeland's development.
