The 15th meeting of Hoa Binh province’s 17th-tenure Party organisation was held on March 26. Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council Bui Duc Hinh, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh co-chaired the event.

Participants looked into the province’s
socio-economic development, with its gross regional domestic product (GRDP)
estimated at 1.92%; and state budget collection, 1.2 trillion VND (49.18
million USD). Last year, the locality attracted three domestic projects with a
total registered investment capital of 500 billion VND.
In his remarks, Long suggested agencies and
sectors continue implementing Party documents, while stepping up administrative
reform and the fight against corruption and other negative phenomena.
They are also to listen to public opinions,
drastically implement strategic breakthroughs, quickly set out the provincial
master plan for 2021-2030 with a vision towards 2050 and submit it to the Prime
Minister for approval, and pay more attention to technological infrastructure
and human resources development.
It is a must to raise the efficiency of State
management, remove obstacles for businesses and investors, consolidate
industrial infrastructure, and continue with agricultural restructuring in
tandem with new-style rural area building.
The official suggested the effective
implementation of the project on the preservation and development of cultural
values of the Muong ethnic group in Hoa Binh by 2030, along with other
resolutions in education and health care.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
In recent years, the education and training sector in Cao Phong district, Hoa Binh province, has actively integrated its tasks with the promotion of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics, and style. This approach has contributed significantly to improving the overall quality of education across the district.
