Receiving the Party admission decision from the Secretary of the Mai Chau district Party Committee, new Party member Mua Thi Vang, of Pa Co commune, felt so proud and emotional. The district Party Committee held a solemn ceremony to hand over the decisions to Vang and 61 other new Party members on the occasion of the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-2024). The ceremony saw the participation of leaders of local Party organisations, representatives from political, social organisations, outstanding youth, and armed forces.

Dinh Hung Cuong, head of the Organisation Commission of the district Party Committee, said that the commission proposed the district Party Committee to hold such a solemn ceremony following the model that Quang Ninh province has applied for years effectively. Before the ceremony, participants offered incense at a temple in Bon village and the district’s martyrs cemetery.
The ceremony to hand over the Party admission decisions to new Party members was held solemnly by the district Party Committee at the district's central cultural house. Each new Party member was invited to the stage and was given the decision by the Secretary of the district Party Committee or the Chairman of the district People's Committee. Not only new Party members but also participants at the ceremony felt emotional and proud. Outstanding youth were inspired to strive to join the Party, thus creating positive changes in the development of Party membership.
In 2023, Mai Chau district Party Committee admitted 166 members, four more than the targeted number. In 2024, the district targeted to admitted 152 new Party members. By the end of May 2024, it had admitted 75 members. In particular, the Party Committees of Thanh Son and Tan Thanh communes completed their Party admission target for the whole year of 2024.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
