(HBO) – Fifty-two suspected cases of COVID-19 in Hoa Binh province have been discharged from hospital, according to the provincial steering committee for COVID-19 prevention and control. As of 15:00 April 5, the locality recorded no infection cases.

As many as
88 suspected cases have been reported in Kim Boi, Tan Lac, Da Bac, Cao Phong, Luong
Son, Yen Thuy, Mai Chau, Lac Thuy, and Lac Son districts, and Hoa Binh city
over the past time, including 10 people coming from outside the province and
one from abroad.
The
province took samples of 80 out of those 88 cases, 73 of which tested negative
for the coronavirus and the remaining 7 cases are waiting for results. All
suspected cases were quarantined and treated according to the guideline of the
Ministry of Health. So far, 52 have been allowed to leave hospital, while the
remainders are still under quarantine.
To prevent
COVID-19 effectively, along with wide-scale physical distancing, 777 people being
under quarantine measures, of whom 60 are quarantined at medical facilities, 151
at concentrated quarantine facilities, and 566 at home.
The
provincial health sector has coordinated with relevant departments and local
authorities to quickly classify suspected cases, and immediately take appropriate
quarantine measures and take samples of those who had come to Bach Mai Hospital
during the period from March 12 to now.
The
province has found 565 people who had visited Bach Mai hospital for medical examination
and treatment, including 84 inpatients. The epidemic control work in the
province is now following the third-level scenario./.
