Permanent Vice Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee Tran Dang Ninh presents a gift to Dang Thi Thu, a resident in Sub-area No. 2 of Cao Phong township in Cao Phong district.

Despite difficulties in his life, Bui Van Ty, a resident in Ru Moi hamlet of Xuan Phong commune donated 1,400 sq.m. of his farmland to help build a clinic and a kindergarten. His deed was honoured by the local administration and became an inspiration for the movements of studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings, as well as new-style rural area building movement in Xuan Phong commune.

Meanwhile, Dang Thi Thu and her family in Sub-area No. 2 of Cao Phong township are known for their success in production and business activities. They farm 6ha of orange trees under the VietGAP standards, generating an annual income of 5 billion VND (215,800 USD) and providing jobs for 20 labourers with a monthly income of 5 – 6 million VND.

Thu has actively assisted others to access scientific-technical advances to develop agricultural production while engaging in social activities. She has become an example in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle. Thanks to her achievements, she was granted with a merit certificate from the Prime Minister.

Permanent Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dang Ninh praised the role models, describing their acts as practical contributions to local development.

He also recognised the outcomes Cao Phong district has attained in implementing the Politburo’s Directive 05-CT/TW on the promotion of the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle.

The official asked the district’s Party organisation to press on with the implementation of this directive as well as the Party Central Committee’s resolutions on the Party building and rectification, the reform of the political system’s apparatus, and the building of the contingent of cadres.

He also requested the Party organisation to improve the quality of local Party cells’ activities while stepping up the popularisation of role models to encourage people to further study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings and contribute more to the local development./.
